Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She is gaining recognition for her outstanding performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance, including an Oscar. She began her career as an actress on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. The art of acting has been a constant obsession. In the fifth grade she played Helen Keller in an original show. Mumps made her lose hearing in one her ears, but this didn't stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. When she was a teenager, she was a drama student in college before moving from Pittsburgh to New York City from Pittsburgh so that she could pursue her ambitions. Hunter was introduced to Beth Henley by chance in a lift. Together, they wrote Broadway Crimes of the Heart. This was Hunter's acting debut. The first time she appeared in a film was after she relocated to Los Angeles. Since then she has appeared featured in a variety of TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
