Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous for the films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano won her several awards, among them an Oscar. Actresses have a lengthy experience of performing on Broadway, Off-Broadway and other productions. When she was a kid, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth grade play. The mumps caused her to lose hearing in one of her ear, however this was not enough to stop the actress from following her dreams. In her teens she studied drama, and eventually moved into New York City. After a casual encounter, she became trapped in an elevator along with playwright Beth Henley and the two worked together on the Broadway Crimes of the Heart that made Hunter's debut. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to find film roles, and was able to secure an acting role as a support in Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in many shows and TV films throughout a span of more than 30 years. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame star and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
